The information that matters.

Follow the energy

See how solar, the grid, your home and an installed battery connect in one energy-flow view.

Both modes

See your solar production

Know how much power your solar system is producing right now.

Both modes

Import or export?

See whether power is coming from the grid or going back to it.

Both modes

Know what your home uses

View live load power: the electricity your home is using at that moment.

Both modes

Keep an eye on the battery

View charge and battery power when a battery is installed and the equipment provides those readings.

When supported

Look a little closer

Per-phase details depend on your installation and the readings your equipment provides.

When supported

See beyond right now

Review energy history and today’s summaries. Solar forecasts add a view of what may come next, when configured.

Supported equipment

Start with your energy system.

Connection methods and support vary. Always check your mode, panel and release before installing.

Victron

Available

Standalone uses Modbus/TCP, a way to read equipment data over your local network. Home Assistant uses configured integrations and sensors.

Standalone: 4-inch. Home Assistant: 4-inch and 5-inch implementations developed. Release details need confirmation.

Victron setup notes →

Deye

Experimental

Standalone connects through a compatible logger or gateway. The current 4-inch development package includes separate LP1 and LP3 profiles.

Simulated tests and compilation passed. Real Deye hardware validation is still pending; logger compatibility must be checked.

Implementation status is not a firmware release guarantee. Available identifies an implementation described in the supplied project notes; release versions and physical test details still need owner review. Deye is experimental and has not been tested on real hardware. High-voltage Deye families and excluded register maps are unsupported by this package. A 5-inch Deye standalone release is not available.

Getting started

A clear path from box to dashboard.

Identify your system

Check your equipment, logger and exact panel model.

Choose your mode

Direct connection, or your existing Home Assistant setup.

Match the package

Confirm the panel, supported equipment and release version.

Follow the guide

Use the installation instructions for that specific package.

AvailableFull guide being prepared

Victron setup

Choose standalone on the 4-inch panel, or Home Assistant on the 4-inch or 5-inch panel. These use different connection and installation instructions.

What to check before starting
  • Panel model and matching firmware package
  • Standalone: equipment with the required Modbus/TCP access on your local network
  • Home Assistant: working equipment integration and required sensors
  • Applicable release, installation method and backups before updating
Open Victron guide site ↗

The guide site currently shows a preparation page. Version-specific installation steps are pending.

ExperimentalFull guide being prepared

Deye setup

Current standalone development targets the 4-inch panel and the listed low-voltage LP1 / LP3 families. Confirm the installed logger or gateway; the inverter name alone does not establish Solarman V5 support.

Connection details you will need
  • Logger IP: the logger’s address on your local network
  • Logger serial: the identifier of the installed logger, not necessarily the inverter serial
  • Transport and port: the connection method and network endpoint required by your logger
  • Inverter address: the device address used by the matching profile

Use verified values from your equipment and matching release guide. Defaults are not confirmed yet.

Experimental: simulated tests only. The guide site currently shows a preparation page.

What standalone first-time setup looks like

Welcome → inverter selection → Wi-Fi → equipment/logger IP → connection test → save and open dashboard. Choose your Wi-Fi network and enter the password on the panel. Recovery instructions will be documented separately.

Support

A few useful answers.

Do I need Home Assistant?

No, if your equipment and panel support standalone mode. Home Assistant is needed for the richer history, daily summary and configured forecast experience. Check the compatibility table before choosing.

Why is my equipment not listed?

Only the implementations described in the project notes are listed. A reserved manufacturer subdomain does not mean an integration is available. Unlisted equipment needs confirmation before use.

What should I check if the panel cannot connect?

Confirm the selected equipment profile, Wi-Fi connection, equipment or logger IP address, and access across your local network. For Deye, also verify the logger compatibility, serial, transport, port and inverter address against the matching release instructions. Do not guess missing connection values.

Why are battery readings or forecasts missing?

Battery readings require an installed, supported battery and equipment that provides the data. Forecasts require Home Assistant mode plus a configured forecast integration and sensors. These are conditional features.

Where are the firmware files and full installation instructions?

They are being prepared. No downloadable release or firmware version has been supplied for publication yet. The package cards show exactly what still needs confirmation.
